We meet over Zoom or phone call before the session so that we can answer all of your questions and chat about your family, what they love and who they are and what they’re about! We love getting to know what your little ones are like!

Easy, comfortable, like spending time with an old friend you’ve known forever.

Lots of fun, giggles, making memories and enjoying yourself. Our methods are play-based and emotion-evoking to give you some of the best images of your time together.

The most posed part of the day is when we do our family portraits but that’s only so that we get exactly what you want and it is done quickly and painlessly!

Depending on how bad the weather is, sometimes we embrace the wind, the rain and the heat! Other times it’s best to postpone. If there is a lightning storm, postponing is the safest option. Adelaide has some really good weather, so if it’s just a tad of patchy rain, we’ll go ahead with the session.

Being a sensitive topic since 2020, if someone is unwell, including if that is the photographer, then it’s best for us to postpone. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible to talk through some options, and if we are sick - we’ll let you know as early as possible.

Absolutely! Travel per hour is $50 when not inside of regional Adelaide. We’re situated in Port Adelaide but have lots of different shoot locations, ask us for our favourites that we would recommend!

Don’t overthink it and do not stress about it! Even if you can’t prepare very well before our session, it won’t take long to tidy!

A couple of decluttered and clean areas with nice lighting. We normally shoot in areas that are well used, like the living room or the kids bedrooms. Any special spots that the family love to hang out are good! Sometimes we might move something around if it’s not quite working. We love to utilise the natural light that your home provides, so some spaces that have low light might not be suitable - but sometimes moody is nice too!

2-4 months out from when you would like the session is the best timing for booking in.

Oh me too! Most days actually. I have spent countless hours putting together a what to wear guide for you that has all of the tips and tricks in there and lots of recommendations also. I am also only a phone call or txt away if you want to show me what you’re thinking of bringing/wearing for your session! We make sure to give lots of inspo and ideas so you won’t be coming up short!

So does mine - and he’s a photographer! We are quite unorthodox when it comes to how we shoot, the session won’t be anything like what your partner expects. We absolutely make it our goal to make sure that EVERYONE enjoys themselves and has the best time making memories. Getting in front of the camera should never be annoying, frustrating, boring or even awkward! I’m more than happy to find some common ground with you and your family before the session on our phone call which prepares us for some good conversation topics during your session.

For family sessions, depending on if you’re having an in-home session - it will depend on the lighting and when your kids are usually in the best mood. If outdoors, the hour before sunset is perfect, or the hour of sunset.

I’ve worked with children from all backgrounds, with and without disabilities and learning challenges for almost 10 years. I have so many tricks up my sleeves to get your children to have the time of their lives and acting cheeky in front of the camera before you know it. They’ll be having the best time and won’t be able to wipe their ‘real’ smiles off their faces!

We absolutely do! There is some print in the base family + newborn packages, but then there are a few print add-ons you can choose from and you’ll be able to choose prints from the store attached to your online gallery at any time!

Yes it is the most environmentally friendly that it could possibly be! We are so incredibly proud of our recycled, plastic-free packaging. It also supports all small businesses that are all Australian.

We have a very clever and sturdy back-up system but the way we process your images means we make sure that they stay safe until they are delivered to you!

Some digital images are provided in your base package, and you can always add more. Do we sell just the digital files though - no. The reason why is because you deserve the very best, and the best isn't the digitals that live on your phone that one day could be easily lost. You deserve professionally printed images - that last a lifetime! This is why we encourage you to print all of your favourites, they’ll bring back the memories of joy for the longest time.
